the weather

The weather and I are pretty in sync lately. It has been doing what I want it to do; it has been sunny for the entirety of my last week of year 11 (which I wanted it to be because I pissed around all week), and today it is cloudy - perfect study weather. I hope it remains cloudy until the last Monday of my science exam and then BAM, the most perfect, amazing weather you could possible imagine.
Here's to hoping, haha.

Egged car

Got to my car today to find it had been egged by Tauranga Boys College. I honestly just cracked up (excuse the pun), mixed in with a few swear words! It's funny cause it is so hot here lately the egg cooks and smells really bad, but I wasn't the only one. Most of the schools cars parked in the same St as mine were egged. It is a tad annoying though to people who have flash cars cause the egg can ruin the paint and the police got involved. All in good humour though, right?
My car was definitely moderate though compared to some others.

Unfortunately I didn't get a photo :(

Maxi maxi maxi!

Today I went out to dinner at Zeytins with my friends to celebrate my newest bargain: my maxi dress! Well, we went out to dinner because we were bored, but it was a good excuse to wear my dress, which I wore with my clogs and crochet jumper-thing. Only 30 bucks and I absolutely adore it, and I will get heaps of wear out of it because I can wear it to the beach or at night! I stumbled across it while getting coat hangers at the warehouse and while Marcelle tried on a bikini. It is just so much fun to wear.

Lonely Hearts

If I had to choose one designer to be my favourite, I would probably choose Lonely Hearts for various reasons; it is reasonably cheap, it is a NZ designer so the clothing is easily accessible for me (no buying online & shipping fee & change in currency etc) and the clothes are just so damn pretty and 'me'! They are so wearable unlike some designers. These are a few of my favourite things from the last 2 collections:

What Is Your Damage? collection

 Love All collection

And as if that weren't enough, Lonely Hearts does the most beautiful lingerie imaginable.

Rambling

Things currently on my mind:
1. It's Friday (just that one line makes me want to break into the Smashproof song), which means many things - Glee S2 Episode 1 is just 45 minutes away, which I am very excited for, and it is the weekend (which unfortunately will be spent studying, but on the plus side me and my mum are doing a spot of shopping tomorrow).

2. STUUUUUUDDDYYYY! So much to do!

3. Just 4 more days of school this year, plus a week of exams - 6 exams in total.

4. And lastly, summer. I can smell summer it is so close! I can taste 2 months of freedom. Speaking of breaking into song, just the mention of summer makes me want to start chanting 'Summer. Summer', like in the start of High School Musical 2 (Yes, I watched it. Guilty as charged). Summer for me means various things:

- watermelon
- the beach (needless to say)
- my new bikini which I still haven't had a chance to wear!
- Copenhagen Cones
- new sunglasses (I am yet to purchase but I know exactly what I want. Any ideas where to get them from?)

- walks up and around the Mount
- BBQ's!!!
- simply just kicking back and having loads of time on your hands. Beach by day, BBQ by night. Watching endless movies etc etc

I hope everyone enjoys their summer holidays!

Harry Potter

Photo from 'Fuckyeahskinnybitch' flickr

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Part 1 releases in 15 days. Oh wow! Except that is bang in the middle of exams. I am a little over-excited right now! And we get it 6 days before France, but I don't want to brag! All right, perhaps I do. Stoked!! This trailer actually gave me goose bumps. So intense!

Also, please note:
Brushing teeth and using Listerene while having a mouth full of ulcers will result in a lot of pain. Just a little warning. Haha

LA Vintage

What a rad little store/website! They buy cool, vintage clothing and sell it. I know that's not that exciting but some of the stuff they have, especially the stuff they have resewn, is so amazing! And so many clogs! Also, they say what era every garment is which is handy.

Trade Me

Dearest Trade Me, do you enjoy making me broke?

oooooooooooohhh, aaaaaaaaaaaahhh.

Nothing like a little chambray for summer, right?

And lastly, a maxi skirt. I love anything maxi right now, and this skirt is just plain amazing!

These are a few of my favourite things currently on my watchlist. From memory they are all from the same seller, mannequingirl.
Happy bidding people!
